One of my family's biggest traditions during the holidays is to make enough candy to feed an army to give family and friends as gifts. I grew up helping my Mom in the kitchen to make the candy and I loved it and looked forward to it each year. These No-Bake Oreo Truffles are always an easy but delicious go-to for holiday candy-making and with only three ingredients, this might possibly be one of the easiest candies to make but a candy that is sure to earn you the most compliments at your next Christmas party!
- 1 package of Oreos
- 1 8-oz package cream cheese
- Vanilla dipping chocolate - I used store brand Vanilla Almond Bark but you could also use a name brand candy coating like Candiquik
- Using a food processor, chop the Oreos very finely, setting aside about 1/8 cup of the crushed Oreos to top the truffles later
- Mix crushed Oreos and cream cheese until well combined (I wore gloves to mix the two together with my hands)
- Roll mixture into 1" balls and place on a wax covered cookie sheet. Put in freezer for 20-30 minutes.
- While balls are in the freezer, melt chocolate according to package directions
- Dip each frozen ball into the chocolate and place on wax paper to set
- Garnish each ball with the leftover crushed Oreos you'd set aside from earlier
- Refrigerate truffles for at least an hour to allow them to harden & enjoy!
